Say goodbye to cold drafts! The door locks in heat, delivering consistent cooking results in any season.
It significantly enhances air circulation, ensuring perfectly cooked toppings by reducing heat loss and controlling airflow.
It even protects the pizza stone from cracking by allowing it to cool down gradually
Features & Usage Suggestions
Mimics Traditional Dome Ovens
The door replicates the airflow of traditional dome-shaped Neapolitan ovens, circulating heat more evenly across the pizza for optimal top and bottom cooking.
Improved Heat Retention
By limiting excess airflow, the door helps retain heat inside the oven, ensuring even cooking of both the crust and toppings, particularly for heavier loaded pizzas or calzones.
Smooth Operation
The custom hinge design allows for seamless door movement without obstructing the pizza peel. The hinge stopper also makes it easy to open and close the door during cooking.
All-Season Pizzas!
The door shields the stone from cold drafts, preventing stone cracks during cool downs and extending its lifespan. It also ensures consistently perfect pizzas in any season.
Let the oven heat up on a medium flame for optimal performance and to protect the stone. The door will help stabilizing the oven’s temperature throughout your cooking session, and it might slightly reduce heating time, too!
After cooking a few pies, you can lower the flame to low/medium-low, take a break, and return to find the stone at the same temperature you left it.
Assembly Instructions
Tools Required
None! All parts can be hand-assembled.
Optional: screwdriver for handle assembly
Instructions
1. Unpack the contents. Carefully remove all components from the packaging and lay them out for easy access.
2. Remove the flame guard from the oven and set it aside.
3. Hold the flame guard with the “L-shaped” slots on the sides facing upwards.
4. Attach the hinge to the flame guard. Place the hinge centrally on the flame guard. Insert two bolts through the outer holes of the hinge’s bottom plate.
5. Secure the bolts: from inside the flame guard, attach a washer and butterfly nut to each bolt. Do not fully tighten yet.
6. Align the hinge: ensure the upper plate of the hinge closes smoothly over the flame guard and that it is horizontally aligned. Once aligned, tighten the bolts.
7. Prepare the oven door: Insert two bolts into the lower holes of the oven door.
8. Attach the oven door to the hinge: insert the bolts from the oven door into the upper plate of the hinge, making sure the hinge is positioned behind the door. Attach a washer and butterfly nut to each bolt and adjust until the door touches the hinge at the bottom of the clearance gap. Tighten the bolts.
9. Attach the handle: ensure the heat-protection metal cover is in place on the handle. Insert the bolt of the handle into the central hole of the oven door and secure it from the inside using a butterfly nut.
10. Position on the oven: carefully place the assembled flame guard and door back onto the oven.
11. Enough waiting! Fire up the oven and enjoy baking those pies to perfection!
Optional: Over time, the handle's integrated bolt may loosen. If this happens, remove the integrated bolt and replace it with the supplied screw, securing the handle to the oven door using the same pre-existing hole. No drilling is required.
